At the same time Octavian is aware of the importance of providing our clients with hard working, reliable and trustworthy employees. We therefore hold vetting and screening as a very high priority. Our vetting procedure entails a 5 year telephone vet followed by a full 10 year screening process to verify the suitability of each applicant, and to confirm that the information they have provided is correct. This includes contacting previous employers by telephone to request confirmation by fax or letter of the applicant’s information and to verify that they would re-employ the applicant. Candidates are asked to supply a proof of address, passport or drivers licence, and a subject access certificate or CRB check depending upon the role, to prove that they do not have a criminal record. Once all of this documentation is checked and verified the candidate’s employment is confirmed.
