Remote Monitoring

The primary advantage of active remote monitoring over regular CCTV lies in the technology’s ability to act independently, without the need for an operator to be constantly watching. Through the use of motion and other types of sensors, an Active Remote Monitoring system can detect activity in specified areas and respond to the opening of doors and windows, whilst also controlling access to secured areas.

If an alert is generated, Octavian’s Control Room is instantly notified and responds accordingly, whether by despatching an officer to investigate, calling the authorities or alerting the client. Using cutting edge technology, Octavian has the ability to monitor hundreds of sites with much lower operating costs than employing a full time operator on each site.

Remote monitoring can be an effective alternative to guard patrols, especially in isolated areas, which can be difficult to access.
