Octavian are seeking SIA licensed Security Officers to guard film sets and TV outside broadcasts for clients such as the BBC and ESPN.

Octavian provides security for innumerable high profile events, such as the Boat Race, Royal Ascot, Springwatch and the Glastonbury Festival and is the sole provider of outside broadcast security services to the BBC.

 

The work is not full time, but ad-hoc and on an "as and when" basis. It may require an officer to remain onsite 24 hours a day for the duration of the shoot, which is why it is usually undertaken by people with all their own equipment (such as motor homes).

 

It is essential that you possess your own motor home and a valid SIA Licence when you apply for this role.
