Octavian Security Job Description:
Octavian is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our growing team. We are seeking a proven leader, ideally from a Police or Armed Forces background, who can bring discipline, operational expertise, and passion for excellence to our security divisions.
Responsibilities:- Lead and manage security operations across multiple sites and contracts- Support, mentor, and develop security teams to deliver a first-class service- Ensure full compliance with UK security industry standards and regulations- Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service delivery- Oversee incident response, investigations, and accurate reporting- Recruit, train, and guide security personnel to success- Conduct regular audits to ensure continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Ex-Police or Ex-Military background (essential)
- 5 to 10 years of operational security management experience
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
- In-depth knowledge of UK security regulations
- Flexibility, professionalism, and a commitment to the highest standards
Licence/Certification:
- SIA Licence (required)
- Driving Licence (required)
Salary Range: £25,500 – £40,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:30
